The Creation Story

Hogarth opened for business in 2008 in an attic room above a shop near London’s Carnaby Street. Our Internet connection came from a cable slung out of a window, and the floor sloped so much that all the chairs ran toward one corner. Eventually, we had fourteen people working in that room. This made it so full that we had to use the Brazilian coffee shop opposite us for our meetings. In memory of these roots, the founders of the company are still known as the “Attic Fourteen”.

Horizons Graduate Recruitment and Hogarth

Grad Day 2015 1 copy

As part of Hogarth’s ongoing efforts to find the next generation of talent, Hogarth London recently held its second Horizons Graduate recruitment day. Account management staff introduced more than 20 recent graduates to Hogarth and the concepts of centralised implementation and transcreation.

During the day, graduates were split into teams and given two hours to design and discuss innovative fundraising ideas for one of Hogarth’s current charity partners, Pencils of Promise, with account managers on hand to choose a winner. The event provided opportunities for both graduates to experience Hogarth’s unique and dynamic approach to problem solving and for Hogarth to work with the next generation of managers.
